Funds Raised for Alzheimer’s Society Through Cupcake Day
The Adey Steel Group has raised over £300 for the Alzheimer's Society with its Charity Cupcake Day.
Staff from the Loughborough-based specialist steel fabricators not only baked but also bought each others cupcakes over the period of two days, raising a total of £325 for the charity.
The Alzheimer’s Society is there for anyone affected by dementia, doing everything possible to keep people with the illness connected to their lives and the people who matter most.
Andrew Adey, Managing Director of the Adey Steel Group, said: "I would just like to say a big thank you to the whole team for really going above and beyond to raise vital funds for the Alzheimer's Society. Not only that but I can testify to the fact that the cupcakes tasted even better than they looked."
