Adey SteelShop obtains Cyber Essentials certification for fifth successive year
Adey SteelShop has achieved Cyber Essentials certification for a fifth successive year.
The Loughborough-based structural steel specialistm which is part of the Adey Stee Group, went through a rigorous auditing process to ensure it complies with Cyber Essentials, a government-backed scheme supporting firms to protect themselves.
Cyber Essentials was set up to guard organisations against cyber-attacks and certification is intended to provide peace of mind that a company’s defences are robust enough to protect against most cyber attacks.
Andrew Adey, Managing Director of the Adey Steel Group, said: “We take our online security very seriously at the Adey Steel Group so it’s particularly pleasing to secure Cyber Essentials certification for a fifth year. It clearly demonstrates the robustness of our IT infrastructure and our continued commitment to cyber security and the safety of our data.”
