Adey SteelShop secures CHAS Advanced certification
Adey SteelShop has secured CHAS Advanced certification.
The Loughborough-based award-winning architectural and structural steelwork specialist recently completed its recertification with CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme).
And, as part of the process, Adey SteelShop has been awarded CHAS Advanced certification for the first time after successfully demonstrating compliance across not just health & safety but also areas of the business such as anti-bribery and corruption, environment and equality, diversity & inclusion (EDI).
As a CHAS Advanced member, Adey SteelShop can now prequalify for a wide range of construction projects as well as share its PAS 91 and SSIP data with prospective clients throughout the UK.
Adey SteelShop has long been a champion of health & safety, and more recently launched Safety First. The initiative was designed to prioritise health & Safety throughout the business and as a result Adey SteelShop’s safety records are industry leading within its sector.
Charlotte Huband, Group HSE Manager at Adey Steel Group, said: “It’s been a real labour of love over recent weeks to complete our CHAS recertification.
“So, when we got the news that we’d actually secured CHAS Advanced certification, it felt great to be recognised for our standards across all areas of the Adey SteelShop business.”
Adey SteelShop currently holds several other construction-related accreditations including ISO 45001 and SMAS Worksafe Contractor.
