Adey SteelShop installs steelwork at Abbey Central
Adey SteelShop has installed the first phase of architectural and structural steelwork for Abbey Central, the exclusive new low energy residential home development in West Bridgford.
The award-winning steel fabrication and processing specialist was appointed by the developer to supply a number of different products for the exciting project on the outskirts of Nottingham.
Adey SteelShop has supplied a variety of structural steelwork for use during the construction of the 71 homes. This has included fitting stair balustrades with Marley capping together with Juliet balconies to the front and rear of several properties. The team from the Loughborough-based, family-owned-and-operated company have also installed hoop top fencing together with over 100 metres of estate railings.
The development of two, three and four-bedroom homes, located on Abbey Road in West Bridgford, seamlessly incorporates a range of cutting-edge technologies and systems, such as air source heat pumps, solar photovoltaics, electric vehicle charging, and a smart home system. It is scheduled for occupancy later this year.
Adey SteelShop has previously worked with the developer on a number of other projects across Leicestershire and Derbyshire including Woodcroft in Moira.
