Adey Steel Shop adopts Rainbows as charitable partner
Adey SteelShop has chosen Rainbows as its first-ever charitable partner.
The leading architectural and structural steel specialist has teamed up with the Loughborough-based hospice to help support its fundraising efforts.
Founded in 1994, Rainbows has cared for thousands of children and young people from the East Midlands with life-limiting, life-threatening and terminal conditions – as well as supporting their families through the toughest of times.
A whole series of fundraising initiatives are planned by Adey SteelShop as the family-owned-and-operated business, who are also based in Loughborough, aims to raise upwards of £10,000 for the charity over the next 12 months. Adey SteelShop will also be using its website and social media channels to raise awareness of the work done by Rainbows and other hospices across England, Scotland and Wales.
Terry Willars (pictured right), General Manager of Adey SteelShop, explained: “Rainbows was the obvious choice for Adey Steel Shop as our first-ever charitable partner because like ourselves they have their local community at the heart of everything they do.
“We are really looking forward to working together on a variety of initiatives over the coming months and through that help support those with life limiting, life limiting and terminal conditions in the East Midlands.”
Kate Golding, Head of Organisational Giving at Rainbows, added: “It’s really fantastic news that Adey SteelShop has selected Rainbows as its first-ever charity partner and we can’t wait to start supporting their fundraising events moving forward.”
Adey SteelShop has been an active supporter of charitable organisations in recent years with its team fundraising for LOROS and Leukaemia Care among others.
