Adey SteelShop has provided a range of structural steel for a new retirement development on the outskirts of Hinckley.
The award-winning steel fabrication and processing specialist was appointed by the developer to support the construction of over 50 new one and two-bedroom retirement homes on the former National Grid site on Coventry Road in the Leicestershire town.
The Dials development, which is situated next to Clarendon Park, features a homeowners’ lounge as well as bistro to aid a greater sense of community. It is also only 10 minutes away from the Hinckley Leisure Park.
Adey SteelShop manufactured and supplied variously sized steelwork sections to support the precast concrete floors for the four-storey apartment building on the site. As part of its involvement in the project, Adey SteelShop also supplied and installed two-storey walk out balconies complete with aluminum decking together with mild steel balustrades for the communal stairs.
Adey SteelShop has worked on a number of retirement living projects across the Midlands in recent years. To learn more about these flagship projects click here.
