This Project was for the supply and installation of a lattice truss with an integrated canopy frame to support a set of loading bay doors to the rear of a new retail/commercial building at the Kings Cross Station sidings area in London.
Installation of the truss was challenging due to the building being close to completion and the external stone cladding already installed, therefore using a standard crane was not possible in this instance. This meant that the Truss had to be manufactured in three sections, with the two end sections being lifted and fixed to the existing structure, followed by the main section between the two ends. The truss size is 12m x 2.5m x 2.0m, weighing 6.7 tonne.
